About Us

About us

Welcome to Simba reDzidzo “The Power of Education”. Founded in 2019, we are a non-profit organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of socioeconomically disadvantaged youth in Zimbabwe through education. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty by providing scholarships, mentorship, and community engagement opportunities to deserving students.

We believe in the transformative power of education to empower individuals and uplift communities. With a commitment to holistic support, we nurture academic excellence, leadership skills, and community service among our beneficiaries. Through collaborative efforts and strategic partnerships, we aim to create a sustainable impact and foster a future where every young Zimbabwean has the opportunity to thrive.

Join us in our journey to empower the next generation of leaders, change-makers, and innovators in Zimbabwe. Together, we can make a lasting difference and build a brighter future for all.

Our Mission

Our goal is to break the cycle of poverty and improve the quality of life of socioeconomically disadvantaged communities in Zimbabwe. We believe that a sound tertiary education is key to achieving this. By improving access to tertiary education and mentoring young people from these communities, we hope to unlock their full potential and empower them to fight against poverty in their communities.

Our Values

Our F.A.C.E. values are a reflection of our desire and commitment to empower young people to become confident and compassionate individuals who strive to make a difference in their communities.

·  Flexibility – we believe in open-mindedness, resourcefulness, and willingness to adapt.

·  Autonomy – we value individual freedom and independence in making decisions.

·  Compassion – we are driven by a desire to make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged members of our society.

·  Empowerment – we believe in empowering people to find creative ways to positively contribute to society.

Our Vision

Education enables upward socioeconomic mobility and is key to escaping poverty  “ – UN Sustainable Development Goal 4

We envision a society that is empowered and free of poverty. As effective drivers of social empowerment  we hope to equip socioeconomically-disadvantaged young adults with relevant life skills to enable them to break the cycle of generational poverty in their families and communities.
