1. Who can apply for the scholarship?

  • First year applicant into a public university in Zimbabwe

2. What documents do I need to apply for the scholarship?

  • Offer letter from university
  • O and A Level certificates
  • Pay slip/ Source of income – parents
  • CV/Resume
  • Reference letters

3. When are the application deadlines?

  • 6 weeks after ZIMSEC  A level Results are released

4. Who should write the recommendation letters?

  • We highly recommend that these letters be obtained from members of the academic community, for example, high school teacher or headmaster

5. What should be included in a recommendation letter

  • The period and capacity in which the referee has known you
  • Description of your character/attributes/performance at school
  • Description of any obstacles or hardships you have faced or overcome including any special personal or family circumstances that have caused financial or other difficulty
  • Description of your potential for future success

6. How many letters of recommendation should I send?

  • Two

7. Do you require official transcripts or school certificates?

  • Yes, we require certified copies of the official transcripts for the review process.

8.  Do I need to pay an application fee?

  • No, the application process is free.

9. I have submitted the application. How soon will I have my decision?

  • You will be contacted 2 weeks after applications close.
